Favourite pub in Aus?

The Courthouse Hotel in Newtown (Sydney). I have the best memories there with all my favourite people. Honourable mentions to the White Cockatoo in Petersham & The Erko too. 

Bush or beach?

Bush, but only just. I love living near the beach and Australian summer near the beach is the best thing ever. But I am the most calm when I am in the bush, if I feel stressed all I have to do is go on a bush walk and I am instantly zen again. 

What does home smell like to you?

I feel like this smell happens most places, but especially on the South Coast where I grew up, the smell outside in the late afternoon in autumn. People's chimney smoke drifting through crispy air. I remember walking the dog as the sun went down after school and that smell was everywhere, it is the best smell in the whole world (apart from Buckskin!!)

Current road trip song?

I have gotten back into more indie music since living on the Sunny Coast again, and I listen to a fair bit of country. But, I love floaty electronic music & have been thrashing Overmono's new single. Cannot wait for the new album in August. Techno & house music will always be what I come back to.
